Formation of Wormholes by Dark Matter in the Galaxy Dragonfly 44

Recently, ultra diffuse galaxy (UDG) of Dragonfly 44 in the Coma Cluster was observed and observations of the rotational speed suggest that its mass is almost same as the mass of the Milky Way. On the other hand, interestingly, the galaxy emits only 1 \% of the light emitted by the Milky Way. Then, astronomers reported that Dragonfly 44 may be made almost entirely of dark matter. In this study we try to show that the dark matter that constitutes Dragonfly 44 can form the wormhole or not. Two possible dark matter profiles are used, namely, ultra diffuse galaxy King's model and generalized Navarro-Frenk-White (NFW) dark matter profile. We have shown that King's model dark matter profile does not manage to provide wormhole whereas generalized Navarro-Frenk-White (NFW) dark matter profile is managed to find wormholes.Comment: 8 pages, two columns. Content Analysis of Hospital Reviews From Differing Sources: Does Review Source Matter?

Social media has had an impact on how patients find and evaluate medical professionals and their experiences of modern healthcare. Qualitative research in healthcare has increased its focus on social media. The present study examined 497 reviews of hospitals in the Pittsburgh area across three websites: Google, Yelp, and Healthgrades. Using computerized content analysis tools (CATA), we analyzed positive and negative comments to identify key themes. Key themes and words included “doctor,” “hospital,” “staff,” and “time.” These findings highlight the importance of medical staff to patient experience. Results indicated that Yelp had the lowest average rating. CATA also revealed that the central term for Google reviews was “hospital,” for Healthgrades reviews it was “doctor,” and the central term for Yelp reviews was “patient.” These central terms reflect the focus of each website. The present study highlights the importance of healthcare professionals understanding the source of reviews and being cautious about how social media comments are used in decision-making about the practice. Future research should try to expand this approach to other cities and countries to evaluate cross-cultural effects on social media comments

Energy-momentum for a charged nonsingular black hole solution with a nonlinear mass function

The energy-momentum of a new four-dimensional, charged, spherically symmetric and nonsingular black hole solution constructed in the context of general relativity coupled to a theory of nonlinear electrodynamics is investigated, whereby the nonlinear mass function is inspired by the probability density function of the continuous logistic distribution. The energy and momentum distributions are calculated by use of the Einstein, Landau-Lifshitz, Weinberg and M{\o}ller energy-momentum complexes. In all these prescriptions it is found that the energy distribution depends on the mass $M$ and the charge $q$ of the black hole, an additional parameter $\beta$ coming from the gravitational background considered, and on the radial coordinate $r$. Further, the Landau-Lifshitz and Weinberg prescriptions yield the same result for the energy, while in all the aforesaid prescriptions all the momenta vanish. We also focus on the study of the limiting behavior of the energy for different values of the radial coordinate, the parameter $\beta$, and the charge $q$. Finally, it is pointed out that for $r\rightarrow \infty$ and $q = 0$ all the energy-momentum complexes yield the same expression for the energy distribution as in the case of the Schwarzschild black hole solution.Comment: 20 pages, 4 figures, two of the figures changed, Discussion modified accordingly, present version accepted for publication in AHE

I-O Can Has Meme? Using Memes to Engage Others With I-O Psychology Content

Memes are ubiquitous, and they have become a major part of online interactions (Kitchener, 2018). Memes may be an accessible medium that organizations can use to connect with potential employees, customers, and the general public. Not only have memes been used by companies for marketing (e.g., Murray et al., 2014), but they also have been used for outreach by organizations as diverse as academic libraries (e.g., Woodworth, 2018), government influence campaigns (e.g., Zakem et al., 2018), and political campaigns (e.g., Graham, 2020). In this paper, we discuss the current state of Internet memes in the I-O psychology community as well as the potential that memes have as a communication medium for the field’s outreach efforts. Indeed, one of the challenges that I-O psychology faces is its obscurity (Nolan et al., 2014; Gasser et al., 2001)

Getting Psyched About Memes in the Psychology Classroom

Introduction: Internet memes are a ubiquitous part of internet culture and a common communication tool among students. Because they are a good medium for expressing ideas and concepts in a concise and fun manner, memes are a potentially valuable tool for teaching and engaging students. Statement of the Problem: Instructors may not know how to use memes in classroom assignments or activities to support learning objectives. Literature Review: Students finding or creating their own class-related content is an empirically-supported way to enhance learning. Instructors can enhance learning by using multimedia approaches (pictures/videos in addition to words), which is a good fit for the use of memes. We include examples of ways that memes have already been used in psychology classrooms. Teaching Implications: Incorporating meme assignments or activities in the classroom could be beneficial. Conclusion: We describe how students can explain or generate memes that illustrate concepts related to course material. Instructions and supporting information and resources, as well as calls for research into the effectiveness of the use of memes in the classroom, are included
